Central Coast Wedding Photographer – Nikki & Francisco

A while ago Nikki & Francisco married at Nikki’s family home in front of close friends and loved ones. Francisco’s family were unable to attend due to border restrictions but Mexico was with us the whole day! As soon as the ceremony finished Francisco was on FaceTime to his parents who had stayed up late to hear all about it (after the zoom with, apparently 150 people watching in Mexico). They were there during speeches with a video message and they were in Nikki & Francisco’s thoughts all day.

This isn’t the first time I’ve watched a lovely soul experience a major life event without their family to experience it with them this year. I’ve lost count of the number of weddings I’ve gotten to participate in while family members on the other side of the world sit in their best dress, clinking glasses and waiting for a glimpse of the joy. I know how lucky I am and I know how wrong it all is.

So a message to Francisco’s loved ones, from someone who got to watch it unfold in person (apologetically, in English): Francisco is so happy. He’s in love, and he’s cherished right back. They have so much fun together. She watches his every move and she laughs when he laughs, cries when he cries. They are already one, and they are loved by many here as well. They’ve jumped into the adventure with open hearts and determined minds, and they are so very beautiful x

To the Chapman family who unintentionally take me on emotional journeys, thank you so much x You are wonderful and strong and frequently in my thoughts.

xx
