Haylee sat me down a few months ago to describe her backyard, festival style wedding and I’ve been dreaming of it ever since. It was such a perfect day it’s almost too difficult to describe!
We started at the Crowne Plaza Terrigal for a few getting ready shots and so Haylee & Riley could have an emotional ‘first look’. We then hopped across the road for some bridal party photos by the sea before driving to Matcham for the beautiful backyard ceremony. Guests had gathered ahead of the Bride and Groom to chat and sip as meats roasted nearby in preparation for the wedding feast. Our Bride and Groom walked together down the aisle to the delight of eager guests and had such a joyful exchange of vows in the beautiful afternoon sun. Afterward Cateraid brought the refreshment and everyone mingled as we snuck away for a few extra photos on the property. The band played a few songs before everyone gathered for some beautiful speeches and a surprise announcement by the bride and groom – that they would soon be a family of three!
Feasting and laughing, drinking, dancing, singing, warming hands by the fire and more laughing – a celebration as it should be and I’m so grateful I was invited along. Thank you so much Haylee & Riley for letting me be part of such a magical day!
