Pacific Palms Wedding Photographer – Daniel & Karin’s Fiesta Celebration

There’s something about Pacific Palms that always delivers an amazing wedding. This was definitely the case on Daniel & Karin’s spectacular day which saw family and friends travel from all over to be there. Originally from Sweden, Karin’s family and friends brought much joy to the day as they marveled at this beach wedding – I think most people were barefoot in the end and absolutely loving the casual and ridiculously fun atmosphere.  El Poco Loco provided the delicious catering throughout the day and that only added to the Fiesta.

One thing Dan and Karin were really wary of were photos – posed and stuffy photos to be exact. These two naturally shy away from attention and much prefer to focus on taking care of others – in fact I saw them taking care of everyone all day long by making sure people were fed, hydrated, having fun or even just feeling included. Dan in particular was really worried about putting too much emphasis on the photos but in the end they both gave just as generously to me during our shoot and I am so appreciative. There is a series of photos from this day that literally made me burst into tears once I sat down to edit them – so raw and beautiful was the love that Dan and Karin shared with me in those moments. I know that was hard for them and I hope they know how much I respect and treasure being part of that love…I only hope everyone in this world gets to experience a love like this at some point.
